Creating a WhatsApp chatbot in Go4whatsup is simple, code-free, and designed for fast automation. Follow the steps below to set up your no-code WhatsApp chatbot using templates and advanced flow mapping.
Before building the full chatbot flow, you need to create the required Broadcast Templates and Auto-Response Templates.
Create a Broadcast Template โ this will be the starting point (root message) of your chatbot.
Add Quick Reply Buttons
Minimum: 1 button
Maximum: 3 buttons
For each button, create a new template using the Auto Response option.
In these new templates, again add 1โ3 buttons based on your flow.
Repeat the process to build your chatbot step-by-step โ up to 7 levels deep.
๐ก These templates act as blocks. You will connect them later inside the Advanced Chatbot Builder.
Once all templates are ready, connect them in the chatbot builder:
Go to Chatbot in the dashboard.
Click on the three dots (โฎ) and select Create Advanced Chatbot.
Click Select Template and choose your root (first) template.
For every button in the template, select the template you created for that button.
Continue linking templates button-by-button until the entire flow is connected.
Give your chatbot a Name.
Set it as the Default Chatbot.
๐ก The Advanced Chatbot Builder helps you visually connect templates and create a structured WhatsApp conversational flow without coding.
To activate your chatbot:
Go to Ticket Manager.
Enable the Chatbot toggle.
Your automated flow will now respond instantly when customers send messages on WhatsApp.

When a customer sends a message, the chatbot triggers only once.
If the customer starts but does not complete the full flow, the chatbot will not trigger again for the second message.
Go to Ticket Manager.
Close the ticket where the issue occurred.
When the customer sends a new message, the chatbot will trigger again automatically.
If the customer completes the chatbot flow during their first interaction, then:
From the next message onward, the chatbot will continue triggering normally.
